McDermott builds its cues in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and each one goes through more than 150 separate procedures. Every shaft starts as kiln-dried, hand-selected North American hard rock maple and is turned eleven times — that is what keeps the wood stable. Forearms, handles and sleeves are made by hand from exotic woods sourced all over the world.
