Radial joint - pin and insert

Radial joint in two parts: the pin that goes into the butt of your cue and the insert that goes into your shaft. Together they form the joint your cue comes apart at.

The thread of a Radial runs along the whole pin and has no flat shoulder. Your shaft centres itself as you screw it on and then sits without any play.

Check which joint your cue carries before you order. A Radial looks like a 3/8x10, but the thread has a different shape and the two do not mate. A Uni-Loc does not fit either.
