Door zijn formaat is deze kap alleen geschikt voor tafels die specifiek ontworpen zijn voor dit model, zoals merken Thissen, Duque en Verhoeven. Voor andere tafels, zoals Jodek, zijn er dunne metalen ballenkappen beschikbaar.
